Jahmil Augustin

For as long as I can remember, I’ve believed that every child deserves a learning environment where they feel valued, capable, and excited to learn. After more than 15 years in education, I felt called to create a space where children could receive the individualized attention, meaningful experiences, and encouragement they need to truly thrive.

I began my teaching career in 2009 and have had the privilege of teaching Kindergarten, 2nd Grade, and 3rd Grade. Throughout my career, I have worked with students of diverse abilities and learning styles, helping them build strong academic foundations while developing confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

I believe that great educators never stop learning. Continuing my education allows me to better understand how children learn and grow so I can better support every child I serve.

Why I Left the Traditional Classroom

Although I loved teaching in the traditional classroom, I often found myself wishing for more time to truly meet each child’s individual needs. I wanted the freedom to slow down when a child needed extra support, to enrich learning for those ready to move ahead, and to create experiences that sparked curiosity and joy.

That desire inspired the creation of Treasure Coast Learning Studio.

Our studio was founded on the belief that education should be engaging, personalized, and connected to the real world. I am passionate about helping children make meaningful connections between what they learn and the world around them through hands-on experiences, exploration, and individualized instruction.

My goal is not only to help children succeed academically but also to nurture confident, compassionate, and lifelong learners.

Beyond the Classroom

Outside of teaching, I am a proud wife, mom to an amazing little boy, and devoted aunt who cherishes spending time with family. I love to travel and explore new places, and many of those experiences inspire the lessons and activities I create for my students.

I enjoy helping children understand the world around them by connecting classroom concepts to real-life experiences, making learning both meaningful and memorable.
